Magnetic Bead RNA Extraction Kits for Blood & Biological Samples

RNA extraction kits lyse cells to release RNA, which then binds to a purification matrix — in this case, magnetic beads. Wash buffers remove proteins, genomic DNA, and other impurities. Integrated DNase treatment eliminates residual DNA contamination. The purified RNA is finally eluted in a low-volume buffer, ready for downstream applications such as transcriptomics, diagnostics, or biomarker discovery.

Magnetic beads are functionalized with surface chemistries — such as silica or oligo-dT coatings — that interact with RNA molecules under specific buffer conditions. In silica-based systems, RNA binds to the bead surface at optimized salt and pH conditions.
